The Second Annual Magic December Harambee Fashion Show: Featuring Augusta Creations, Ayiki's Creations, Giulia Designer, and Ydea Style

“It's not how much we give but how much love we put into giving.

Love is not patronizing and charity isn't about pity, it is about love.

Charity and love are the same - with charity you give love,

so don't just give money but reach out your hand instead.”

― Mother Teresa

Those words best express and exemplify the spirit of those involved in the Harambee Gwassi-Kenya project.

It is this same love and devotion that serves as the basis of foundation for the Harambee Gwassi-Kenya Schools in Kenya, Africa. It is about reaching out with your hands to help others in such a worthy, socio-economic cause as this.

This Second Annual Magic December Harambee Fashion Show was presented & directed by Bell Frayar.

The fashion event was sponsored by Second Life's leading Fashion Designers - Augusta Creations, Ayiki's Creations, Giulia Designer, and Ydea Style.

The purpose and intent of The Magic December Harambee Fashion Show was not just a means to exhibit some of the best and finest of fashion here in Second Life, but more importantly, it was intended to pay tribute to this holiday period and to serve as a Charity Auction to help benefit the building of Harambee Gwassi-Kenya Schools in Kenya, Africa.

In the Swahili language, “Harambee” translates to “working together.”

Through the Harambee Gwassi-Kenya project, both Italians and Africans work side-by-side with equal dignity.

In the spirit of friendship and cooperation, they combine to promote this self-development program on the Nyandiwa Peninsula in Kenya.

Here in Second Life, the Harambee Gwassi-Kenya project has found a home in at Bunny Isles.
